Your thinking rate is fixed

At first, I thought this article didn’t apply to me because I’m not trying to think faster. But Shane Parish makes the point that by focusing on speed I’m forced to make decisions faster and that’s the same thing as trying to think faster. “If you want to make better decisions, you need to do everything you can to reduce the pressure you’re under.” I still think this applies to some, but not all, decisions.
