VC-backed companies don’t go out of business?
Not in Chicago, at least, according to Pitchbook data. Someday I’d like to reconcile a few narratives and personal experiences: 1) Most startups fail, 2) VC-backed startups make bold bets, and 3) I’ve only seen a handful of local funded startups admit failure. What’s going on?
