15 convictions dropped, 7 cops placed on desk duty. 

An ex-Chicago police Sgt., Ronald Watts, did prison time for shaking down drug dealers. Now, 15 cases of drug charges have been dropped and his crew of 7 are on desk duty. CPD won’t fire them because they haven’t been convicted of a crime. This makes sense. But will it deter other bad actors from pursuing this path?
